Here’s some video I shot while on last weekend’s road trip to Marfa, Texas.

The group Miike Snow (don’t be confused by the singular name that represents the entire group) dazzled at Granada Theater on Monday, June 7, 2010. I was blown away at the energy of the crowd. It felt like a giant dance party. Here’s some video I shot at the event. Shot on a Canon 7D with standard kit zoom lens. Audio recorded using a Zoom H2.

I took my camera on last weekend’s trip to North Carolina. I shot some photos at the wedding we attended – you know – something to do! Half-way through the evening, I decided to shoot some video. So this projects combines photo and video together.

Here’s another weekend project. Bud is selling his 1969 Stingray 427. Please contact me if you’re interested and I’ll pass the info along to him! I’m still learning how to shoot video on the 7D – each project gets a little bit better than the last.

My friend Willie Baronet organized a second flash mob event to raise awareness for the homeless. I had a lot of fun shooting this event. For more information, visit We Are All Homeless.

I ran in to some audio problems while using my Canon 7D and Rode Videomic. I’m not sure if the mic connection jiggled loose, or if the camera “forgot” that the mic was attached while switching back and forth from photo to video mode. Nevertheless, here’s some hacked together footage of the few shots that I DID get with audio.

Erin is critical of the audio – she says it is total porn music. Okay, okay. Taken in context with the video and how it’s low-lit, I can see her point. Whatever. The real point is to try out my new Glidetrack SD Shooter. I’m excited to use this on some real projects!

Melissa and Luke’s boy had a blast nomming on his birthday cake.   Here is a quick edit I put together of him.
