It’s been a [minute] since I posted. There’s a lot of happenings… happening!

Wednesday, September 2nd is my last day with Siemens PLM Software. It has been a GREAT 6 years. I’m sad to leave, but excited to take on some new projects with a smaller company. I start on September 8th with WebCE.

Last week signaled the beginning of another semester in an endless string of semesters toward an MFA. Just like all the others so far, this semester will definitely kick all ass. I am enrolled in:

• Information Design & Innovation
• Film Studies

I’m flying to São Paulo tonight for a quick work trip to train people on a system we use for web content. It should be just as exciting and weird as November’s Seoul trip. I think I’ll have an easier time sounding out some of the words though!

I’m wrapped up doing work stuff right now… no huge update!

Well, there is ONE update. I signed up for 2 cool classes for the Fall 2009 semester.

It should be another great semester!

Erin and I knocked around Dallas on Saturday.

First stop: Bolsa. This place was excellent. We split late lunch that included bruschetta and a peperoni flat bread.

Here’s a recycled-styled shot that was set up by a photographer from the Observer who was there to take a couple shots about the restaurant.

After that, we cruised up Bishop street and checked out a sidewalk sale going on. I bought a couple presents… cannot share those details for fear of ruining the surprise though!

After dinner with friends, we headed downtown to catch up with Ryan and strolled around downtown a little bit. Nieman’s always has cool displays. This one especially caught my eye.

Erin posted a nice little somethin’ about our new place. Her post on Treehouse and the Guest Room are nice.. along with the book case update. Props to her on getting the apartment looking great.

I must admit that I spend way more time at my girlfriend’s apartment than mine. Having said that, I don’t put enough effort as I should in “nesting” up the place. However, I did spend a few dollars on some new frames.

And apologies to Eric Smith. I picked up one of his “live now” prints and couldn’t help myself by turning it quasi-diptych. And to William Wegman for cropping one of his beautiful dogs (from an old calendar) and turning it in to wall art.
