Las Vegas Neon Boneyard

I found inspiration from Erin on this piece. On her last work trip to Las Vegas, she toured the famous Neon Boneyard. I was fascinated by her photos from the tour. I’m also mildly obsessed with typography. So this was a perfect fit for a painting project. (Click small versions to load the large images.)

Fun Saturday

Erin and I knocked around Dallas on Saturday. First stop: Bolsa. This place was excellent. We split late lunch that included bruschetta and a peperoni flat bread. Here’s a recycled-styled shot that was set up by a photographer from the Observer who was there to take a couple shots about the restaurant. After that, we… Continue reading Fun Saturday

Drillbaby Project

I’m thinking about the relationship of oil (a finite resource) to the earth. And then I played off the idea of “mother earth.” I think this illustration project captures my thoughts. VAMPALIN! Rahr!!! This Year’s Pumpkin Stencil

I’m SUPER pumped about the upcoming election. I cannot think about a much better way to voice my opinion to fellow Halloween party-goers and trick-or-treaters than in a pumpkin. So here’s vampalin and all her glory.
