Avery Schafer: Birth Announcement

For a side project, I helped my sister get a design together for her baby girl’s birth announcement. I think these turned out pretty nice. I’m not in love with the font on the bottom section. Typography No-Nos aside, it turned out aok!

Hopefully I can get the messaging added in the next day or two so I can focus some time on adding art. And this coming weekend will… Continue reading Digital Narratives Final

Nokia: Get Out and Play

While loading and waiting on some video files to finish compressing, I checked the blogs. Found this lovely site from UX Mag. Here’s a fun stop-motion ad spot for Nokia. Includes a 3D (ish?) game of human tetris. Get Out And Play! (You might want to skip the arkanoid-like game at the beginning.)

However, it feels good to take a class on this subject and participate in the exploration of new ideas. The assignment: Design 6 ten-second-length… Continue reading Sound Design: Mood Project

hrp.com – Cool Hand-powered Navigation

Spotted on UX Mag. The Publicis & Hal Riney site asks you navigate via mouse OR your HAND (via webcam). That’s right, the flash-powered site requests access of your web cam… and then you can navigate the site with movements of your hand.

Post-It Note Drawings

I saw this link to Post-It note drawings from Coudal and had to sneak a peek. Lovely.
