Peticolas Brewing Tour

Early last week my friend Colin nudged me on FaceBook (thank you Colin!) to reserve my spot for this past Saturday’s private tour at Peticolas Brewing in Dallas. You can check our their FaceBook page for updates on the next available tour. I’m not sure how often he’ll do this sort of thing, but I… Continue reading Peticolas Brewing Tour

Tomatoes – First Harvest of 2011

Erin came back from being away on a work trip (we were both gone last week) and I wanted to welcome her home with a nice dinner. So I made chicken piccata and caprese salad. And… Continue reading Mmmm Tomatoes!

1924

So Erin and I went out on a “real date” last night. First stop: Times Ten Cellars. Lovely, and it’s not a total racket like other wine bars. After that we ate at Kitchen 1924. We’ve both been there before, but what really surprised me this time were the Deviled Eggs with Mixed Greens (with… Continue reading 1924
