I haven’t posted in a WHILE. What of it!? It was a fun weekend. Erin had her friend Hillary over to shoot some house pics. So the house was nice and clean! After they did their thing, I did a couple-a pics.

Erin and I shot Eben and Rachel’s wedding this past weekend in Denver. I’m excited how this photo turned out. Stay tuned… more later. Lots of re-touching to do (Rachel busted a blood vessel in her eye… so it’s going to be lots of tweaking).
Some friends and I organized a photo crawl for Saturday and it was great! We met under the giant robot at the Deep Ellum DART Station and moved through part of Deep Ellum, and then over toward downtown once the sun began to set. Next time, I would like to spend more time shooting timelapse [...]
Capstone Project Update
Here’s an update on my capstone project!
I shot (a whole bunch of ) photos last night so I could edit them in to a video piece. I also just received my new intervalometer yesterday, so I was dying to try it out.
Music credit in this vide: the super-badass band The Octopus Project.
Last night’s Hexadecagon performance by The Octopus Project made me smile. The band performed in the round, with 8 channel sound. I could feel the music moving around me. It was absolutely fantastic. I am also liking South Side Music Hall more and more.
Here’s their ad for last night’s show, along with [...]
Holy cah-moley. After a refreshing set from Miniature Tigers and a trance-inducing beats-fest from Prefuse 73, Neon Indian took the stage at Granada Theater. This was my second time to see Neon Indian play, and I enjoyed it even more than the first. I look forward to seeing more projects coming from [...]
Here’s another shot of our house at night. This one takes on the more dreamy appearance of HDR. While it’s not a perfect art form, I think that this type of image treatment deserves credit.
Here’s a shot of our remodeled Cliff May… just before dark. I am slowly learning HDR photography. This shot is a little bit blown out (see the hot spots on the lights?) but it still gives a more dynamic feel to the photo – compared to a one-exposure shot.
