So Santa gave me an ant farm this year. I finally ordered the ants online and they showed up last night in my mailbox, sealed in a padded envelope in a tidy tube.
So I poked some starter holes for these larger-than-life pinchers, sheepishly opened up the test tube, and by no small act of God got them all safely delivered with the lid closed. No bites!

What is the blue stuff? I thought Ants were supposed to be in sand. Maybe that is the old school style. Do ants breathe? If they came in that Test tube, how do they get air? Ants in the mail…hmmm, DANGEROUS!
All those questnios are very relevant, but more importantly..I have got to get me one of those!!
